About Our Soaps
All of our soaps are hand made by us in small batches from natural ingredients (organic, if possible)– plant oils, herbs, sometimes milk, oatmeal or locally produced honey. Organic herbs and flowers, many are from our own garden, are added to enhance the value of the soap. We use only pure essential oils. We use no synthetic or mineral colorings, no artificial or chemical preservatives.
Why Natural Soap?
Natural
soap contains about 25% glycerin, which is a wonderful moisturizer.
Many commercial soap producers remove this glycerin from their soap
because it has value as a stand-alone product.
Natural soap retains the glycerin formed during the soap making process
and excludes commercial additives.
Commercial transparent soap often contains very little glycerin even
though it is commonly called “Glycerin Soap” it is not. Most commercial soap
producers add detergents and synthetic fragrances to their soap.
Handcrafted, natural soap is pure soap.
Your whole body will notice the difference.
